Crystal, Veterinary Assistant

Crystal, Veterinary Assistant

Crystal was the first employee we ever hired at FRAH back in 2001. She worked with us for over 4 years before moving out of the area. We are excited to have her back as a Veterinary Assistant as of October 2015.

Crystal and her husband, Joe have three children who keep them very busy. When not watching the kids on the ice playing hockey, Crystal likes to get outdoors and enjoy the warm weather activities Wisconsin has to offer. Crystal’s family share their full house with a Golden Retriever, three sweet cats and a bunny.

Crystal is pictured here with Francis who was a clinic kitty at FRAH from 2002 to 2019!

Veronica, CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician)

Veronica, CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician)

I love being able to create a relationship with clients and their pets. Caring for animals can be a challenge mentally and physically, and I am always up for a new challenge. I love that I learn something new everyday and I know that I will be able to apply that knowledge again in the future. I really enjoy lab work and all of the hands-on aspects of being a CVT. Though I love small animal practice, I find large animal medicine very interesting.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family (Cody, Bentley, Amelia, and our two dogs Tyson - pictured here, and Gigi and our two cats) We enjoy camping, volleyball, snowboarding in the winter and enjoying most summer activities offered in Wisconsin. We just love being outside!

Our Cats and FRAHgs

Did you catch a glimpse of a rogue kitty while visiting FRAH? Did a cat try to get into your purse? Never fear, they are not escaped patients, it's just Arika (Fuzz pants) Edie and Archie, our resident cats. They are professional chair occupiers, snack stealers, stress relievers and comic relief!

Our Cats and FRAHgs

If you take a peek into the large terrarium in the reception area you may catch a glimpse of our FRAHgs. They are poison dart frogs but no, they're not poisonous. Our frogs are all captive bred and they eat wingless fruit flies. Had they been born in the rainforest they would have eaten a variety of bugs that would have caused them to be poisonous. We don't handle them as the oils in our skin are actually hard on them but they can't hurt us:)
